The Full-Length Version of the Putative Security Video Showing the Flight 77 Hijackers Getting Screened

Here.

A few oddities:
1) no time or date stamp (if it was there, why would they cut it off?)
2) there are at least two different camera angles here, the footage is spliced together
3) the hijackers get what seems to be a thorough screening, but nothing is found
4) there is no one dressed as a pilot, so we can rule out the idea that they got into the cockpit that way (it seems unlikely they would change into the uniform right before boarding)
5) one "hijacker" has a backpack and a carry-on bag. Why does he need so much luggage? What was in there?

Hey Spooked, good find!

A few more oddities:

6) "Hani Hanjour" looks like the Hulk!!! What kind of steroids was he on since 9/05 when his skinny ass is seen at an ATM machine?! Looks like he put on at least 50 lbs in six days!

7) Why are none of the other 59 passengers supposedly on Flight 77 seen in this video?

First, thanks to Webfairy, who has amazing stuff hidden away on her site.

Second, indeed there is a big question whether that is really Hani Hanjour.

As far as the passengers, could you really tell if the few non-hijackers they showed were not flight 77 passengers?

btw, I don't know if you've flown into or out of Dulles, but it is very different from most airports, because you go through security at the main terminal, then take a shuttle to a secondary terminal where you get the plane. So security is quite removed from the gate.

I still don't understand why there is no time or date stamp.

One other weird thing is the strong sunlight coming in from outside the security area. At Dulles, the security gates are quite far into the building, and the section next to the security screening area should nbot be sunlit. There are walls actually blocking the outside light for much of this central area. So I wonder if this is even Dulles!

No time stamp makes the image redundent.

Hi Spooked,
Concerning the sunlight.
They should have been screened between 7:15 and 7:45 on a September day (almost beginning of autumn). It should be possible to figure out when the sun came out and how likely it is to have strong sunlight at that time of the day.

John Doe II--

I've been to Dulles several times, and anyone correct me if I'm wrong, but the main entrance to the terminal faces east and is mostly glass-- so a lot of sunlight would go straight in early in the morning. The security gates are on the western side of the building. The main camera angle in the video is facing east, and thus the sunlight streaming in outside the area makese some sense. Whether the angle of the sun is right to shine so far into the building is another more complicated question. I think the video is plausibly at Dulles, early some morning. The biggest problem, of course, is the lack of a time or date stamp.
