I think Piglipstick has the definitive take on the newly started war. The whole thing has clearly been rigged up by the US, with some help from Israel, and at a good time for other distractions so the media can ignore the real story here. That is, ignore the US-driven instigation to the hostilities even more than they normally would.

Based on the article in Centre For Research on Globalization, it sounds
like this is mainly about oil.
I do not believe it will escalate because there's no gain in it for anyone.
