Lone Sporeman, Part 3

Serious doubts about Ivins continue to be expressed in abundance-- see here (good one), here, here, here, here, here, here, here, here -- even the consensus on the very conventional NPR news program Diane Rehm Show yesterday was that the Ivins case was not convincing.

An important fact for Ivins' innocence is that he was quite incapable of producing the special coating found on the spores.

So, clearly, the FBI is feeding us bullshit by naming Ivins.

Interestingly, institutionally, there is an amazing amount of skepticism about the anthrax case-- almost as if the PTB WANT us to think the real culprit is still at large. Or want us to distrust the FBI. Or both.

Some other articles are worth reading, if you're not tired of this stuff-- on Ivins' apparent mental disturbance, and when he may have planned of the attacks.

This piece is great: "How Was Ivins Different From Padilla? Why Wasn't Ivins Declared an Enemy Combatant?"

Well-- one way Ivins was different was that he won a medal -- the highest civilian honor possible from the Pentagon-- in 2003! Hmmm.... maybe that makes Ivins MORE guilty.

UPDATE: FBI attempt to place Ivins in Princeton, NJ, at the time of the mailings falls short, as well as other concerns.
