Proposed New Policy WIll Allow Gitmo Prisoners to Plead Guilt Without Defense Bringing Evidence of Torture

Pretty pathetic:
The Obama administration is considering a change in the law for the military commissions at the prison at Guantánamo Bay, Cuba, that would clear the way for detainees facing the death penalty to plead guilty without a full trial.

The provision could permit military prosecutors to avoid airing the details of brutal interrogation techniques. It could also allow the five detainees who have been charged with the Sept. 11 attacks to achieve their stated goal of pleading guilty to gain what they have called martyrdom.
Apparently the goal is to never ever admit that torture was used, and besides being totally immoral, that it totally fucked up any information obtained from the prisoners.

Will a criminal call for an investigation of itself?

Can a crime be much more hideous than holding and torturing people knowing full well that it is a farce?

They have TV locked up. No matter how bad it gets, the US is in the clear.
