The Madness of Afghanistan Continues

NYTimes:
KABUL, Afghanistan — A NATO airstrike before dawn on Friday killed 80 people or more, at least some of them civilians, in a once-calm region of northern Afghanistan that has recently slipped under control of insurgents, Afghan officials said.
WTF do they mean by "at least some of them civilians"? That maybe ALL of them could be civilians???

Either way, more senseless killing of civilians. Who does this please besides the evil and bloodthirsty PTB?

UPDATE:
At least 40 of the dead were civilians, said officials. Many more people are injured, and the local hospital in Kunduz province is overflowing with burn victims, reports the BBC.

Well, yes, I suppose so, but at least our government wouldn't intentionally cause the death of AMERICAN civilians like some people have suggested happened on 9/11.
