Speaking of GMO Foods

It still blows my mind that we can't have a simple law telling us if a food contains GMO ingredients or that milk was produced with rbGH.

Of course, this is what the appointment of Michael Taylor was all about-- but still, this is something that citizen action advocates should have a field day with. And I see there are several websites, and groups devoted to this cause, such as this one. How many of these orgs are legit and/or effective is another issue. But the labeling issue is definitely a worthy cause.

There is the view that GMO foods are GOOD, and help far more people than they hurt, as espoused in the NYTimes just today. While there may be some merit to that argument, I think as a consumer, I have a right to friggin' know if the food is genetically modified or not!

The pollen created by GMO corn is a new genetic material engineered for toxicity. I strongly suspect it causes general organ failure in humans, including suppression of adrenals, and holes in the kidneys. It is a quiet epidemic that does not get discussed. Recently I saw where a Monsanto official was appointed national food safety director--heaven help us all.

Is there one thing that this administration has done or said that is not fascist?

Using the race card to get a cryto corporatist in office is just beautiful.
