"Sickeningly Unjust Imprisonment of Innocent People In Response to Terrorism" Watch

"In the Name of the Father" is the true story of how an entire Irish family, including a middle aged lady and her children, were imprisoned for 15 years for an IRA bombing, despite being completely innocent.

I stumbled on this in Netflix, and had forgotten about since seeing it back when it came out in 1993. It's amazingly similar to what the US has done to hundreds of people since 2001, and tortured and imprisoned them at Guantanamo. I'm surprised I haven't heard more about this movie, in reference to what the US has done since 9/11. But basically, the British set the stage for insanely fucked police policies in response to terrorism.
