Is "Sandy" an Engineered Storm?

There is a fair amount of talk that such a massive and disruptive hurricane, in such an unusual landing location, must be engineered-- possibly even by the Obama administration to affect the elections.  But I have not seen any convincing evidence in this regard.  Pointing out weird patterns on a satellite image, in the absence of careful comparisons, does not convince me.

For example:

While anything is "possible"-- I really doubt this storm is engineered.  I just don't think any weather modification technology we have is powerful enough to create and/or move such a massively energetic storm system.  The energy involved, that could be deployed without detection, would be far beyond our capabilities, in my opinion.

More likely is that this storm is more powerful than normal due to climate change-- global warming-- which is in fact predicted to produce stronger, larger and more powerful storms.

If she had spoken in plain English, and taken the time to explain things like "sonic undulation" and TTAs etc., it would have helped.

I wondered right from the beginning if this was an engineered storm, "cooked up" by and for Team Obama.

I don't know, but it wouldn't surprise me at all.

Indeed-- it could be, but what is the deal with conspiracy theorists who spout this kind of gobbledygook and expect you to just buy it? Is it disinfo or just deluded people or simple scam artists trying to get attention?

i'm sure that it is a simple matter for the pentagon to manipulate the weather.

Creating and Steering Hurricane Sandy

The Sea Based X-Band Radar is the world’s largest floating phased array X-band radar. It is operated by the US Department of Defense (Missile Defense Agency) and its movement and location is classified.

Thanks for "Creating and Steering..."
link and article.

Very interesting and seems reasonable and credible.

How would such an operation benefit Obama's re-election?

i don't really see how it would benefit obama - actually, the east coast is mostly democrat, so if the hurricane interfered with the s'election', then it would probably benefit romney. i mean obamney. wait...
